Dear Editor,
It seems that there is a witch-hunt out for Minister Lall in the letter columns.
I dare say the tone of the letters seems to be racist. Not that I condone the minister. He was wrong and should be disciplined.
Why were there no letters or witch-hunt when a very senior PNC minister slapped an employee from Guyana Stores in full view of the public during a protest against the PNC regime at that time ?
We all know who that “born again” minister is.
Come on now fellas.

The only free publication that then existed was the Catholic Standard which did report this incident and was sued for damages for libel by the perpetrator.
