21-team, one-day dominoes competition at Turning Point Sports Club tomorrow

Mark ‘Jumbie’ Wiltshire will celebrate his 52nd birth anniversary tomorrow with a 21-team, one-day dominoes competition, bar-b-que and oldies dance at the Turning Point Sports Club. Double six time is 1pm.

Five winner-take $15,000 per team matches are also scheduled for the day’s programme.

The winning team in the 21-team tournament will receive $80,000, while the second and third-placed teams will take home $40,000 and $20,000 respectively.

Entrance fee per team is $7,000.

Among the teams invited for the 21-team tournament are One Love, F&H, Snake, Specialist, Turning Point, Taurus, Maltees Falcons, R&R, International 6, Red Lions, Top Gun, Onasis, Rage, FIB, Fire, Johnno Bank, Fair Players, Bottom End, Honesty, Upset, La Belle, Frankies, Future Gill, Brothers, Den Amstel and Underground.

Linden, Berbice and F&H will contest one of the five winner-take competitions, while the others will see Uitvlugt tackling FIB and Snake; Specialist facing Trappers and Upset; Red Lions coming up against Middleton Street Warriors and Bottom End and East Coast taking on East Bank and West Bank.
