East Coast Umpires Association elects new executives

Davertate Anandjit was re-elected president of the East Coast Umpires Association (ECUA) which held its annual general meeting and elections Sunday at the Lusignan Community Centre ground.

Other members of the ECUA who were elected were Gavin D’Aguiar as vice-president, Rakish Sukdheo, secretary, after previously holding the post of treasurer, Mohammed Shamsuddin,was re-elected the PRO and Raymonth Waldron, assistant secretary/treasurer.

A press release from the PRO stated that former secretary Dowcarran Dindiyal, as well as former vice-president Sreechand Jagnauth did not seek re-election. The executive said that they would meet shortly to appoint the other executives and to fix dates for upcoming umpiring classes.
