The Busta second-division limited-overs final is scheduled for Saturday at the Everest Sports Club ground.
This final, between Malteenoes Sports Club and Lusignan Cricket Club was postponed last year due to inclement weather.
The other second-division final, the Hand-in-Hand final also involving Malteenoes Sports Club and Enterprise is scheduled for next Saturday at the Everest Sports Club ground.
Krishna Deosarran will lead a tough Lusignan team into Saturday’s final while the following week the Enterprise team, coached by former Guyana off-spinner Zaheer Mohammed, will be ready to take on the boys from Thomas Lands.
The Guyflag first-division three-day competition will be continued.
Malteenoes will play the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) while Cornelia Ida opposes Gandhi Youth Organization. The winners will advance to the semifinals where they join Lusignan and Everest.
