The Guyana Amateur Swimming Association’s (GASA) swimming instructors course, carried in Stabroek Sport as beginning today, will be held on February 17 and 18 as a precursor to an International Swimming Association (FINA) coaching clinic.
All interested persons are asked to register at Colgrain Pool’s administrative office, Camp Street, on or before Wednesday, February 14.
Meanwhile, the FINA clinic is scheduled for July this year.
The objective of the GASA course is to increase the number of trained swimming instructors in Guyana. It is also the start of GASA’s certification programme for the year 2007.
