No 63 beach is an eyesore

Dear Editor, I would like to respond to your piece ‘Time 63 beach opening with Berbice River Bridge – Prashad,’ published in SN June 24, in which Tourism and Commerce Minister Manniram Prashad, “urged the management committee overseeing the upgrading of the Number 63 beach to complete the project in time to coincide with the completion of the Berbice River Bridge.”

Berbice River Bridge to be completed after CARIFESTA

President Bharrat Jagdeo urged Berbicians last Saturday to ensure that they take part in CARIFESTA X but expressed regret that the Berbice River Bridge will not be completed in time for the festival activities slated for Region Six (East Berbice/Corentyne)  during the period August 22-31.
