A 40-year-old man was yesterday placed on bail when he appeared before the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on a charge of indecent assault.
Arnold Bhagwan of Sophia, Georgetown pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him by Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle.
It is alleged that on January 1, Bhagwan indecently assaulted a 14-year-old female.
Bhagwan was placed on $60,000 bail and the matter continues on February 8.
