Latoya Wilson of 239 Pike Street, Kitty was yesterday remanded to prison when she appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on a charge of trafficking in narcotics.
Wilson who allegedly had in her possession 2,155 grams of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to her.
The prosecution objected to bail and requested that a date be set for trial. Wilson was subsequently remanded and the matter will continue on May 20.
