Aircraft owners elect new executive

The Aircraft Owners Association of Guyana (AOAG) elected a new Executive Committee at its AGM held on Friday.

According to a press release from the association, Michael O Correia Jnr, representative of Trans Guyana Airways was re-elected president; Anthony Mekdeci, representative of Ogle Airport Inc was re-elected first vice president and will also serve as treasurer; Ronald Reece, representative of Wings Aviation Limited was elected second vice president; Mazahar Ally, representative of Air Services Limited (ASL) was elected director and Fazel Khan, also from ASL was re-elected director.

The release said Mekdeci and Reece, representatives of the AOAG were elected chairman and vice chairman respectively, of the Art Williams and Harry Wendt Aeronautical Engineering School. Mekdeci and Khan were also elected chairman and vice chairman respectively, of the Technical Committee. Also, Reece and Ally were elected director and deputy director respectively, of the Search and Rescue and Emergency Response Committee.
