Body of Craig boy found at Nismes

The partly decomposed body of the 12-year-old boy who fell into the Demerara River on Tuesday during a fishing expedition with friends was yesterday found stuck in the koker at Nismes, West Bank Demerara.

A police release said that the body of Christopher Mc Lean of Craig, East Bank Demerara (EBD) was found around noon and is presently at the West Demerara Regional Hospital awaiting a post-mortem examination.

McLean according to the police was reported to have drowned while fishing with friends in the Demerara River in the vicinity of Craig Sideline Dam on Tuesday.
