A 22-year-old woman was stabbed in her abdomen during a squabble with another woman at Haslington, East Coast Demerara yesterday afternoon.
Osa Higgins, of 165 Haslington was up to press time in the Georgetown Hospital’s operating theatre undergoing emergency surgery.
Sources said that around 7 pm, the woman arrived at the institution nursing a stab wound to the abdomen. The fight occurred around 5:30 pm.
