A man who is accused of having in his possession a quantity of cocaine was remanded to prison on Wednesday when he appeared before Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Twenty-eight-year-old Dwayne Brown of 65 Hadfield Street, Stabroek, pleaded not guilty to being in possession of 2.2 kg of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking on September 16 at Fifth Street, Alberttown.
Brown is due to return to court on October 6.
