Two juveniles sent to NOC for breaking into Corriverton house

Two juveniles would spend the next three years at the New Opportunity Corps (NOC) on the Essequibo Coast after they pleaded guilty at the Springlands Court to a charge of break and enter and larceny.

Magistrate Chandra Sohan learnt that the two lads, aged 14 and 15 years old of Corriverton, broke into the dwelling house of Aretha Mc Allister of Dukestown, Corriverton and stole one DVD player, MP3 players and other articles.

Police Prosecutor, Sergeant Michael Grant, told the court that the victim secured her home and went out. When she returned she discovered the articles missing and was told that the two had broken into her home.
