Guyana Review out tomorrow

A bumper issue of the monthly Guyana Review will be included in tomorrow’s issue. Its feature articles will include a wide-ranging interview with Sir Shridath Ramphal and a piece on the launching of his book on the dispute with Suriname. It will also have the first in a series on well-known West Indian intellectual, the late CLR James and the second instalment of James’s famous speech on Federation in Georgetown in 1958. An article by Dr Clem Seecharran entitled:

Whose Freedom at Midnight: Machinations Towards Guyana’s Independence, May 1966 (this was inadvertently cut off in the previous issue); and an address by author Earl Lovelace on Welcoming Each Other: Cultural Transformation of the Caribbean in the 21st Century will also appear.
