An Albouystown man was admitted to the Georgetown Hospital yesterday after he was bitten by a pit bull while walking through Middle Road, La Penitence.
Nazim Mohamed of 259 Independence Boulevard, Albouystown received stitches for the wound on his left leg.
According to reports reaching Stabroek News the man was walking through Middle Road on his way to the La Penitence market when the dog ran out of a yard and attacked him.
