If the government fails to come up with acceptable plans, the business community must force their hand. If the business community fails to respond, all the million and one organizations, associations and unions must step up to the crease. But most of the unions are just sitting there waiting for hand-me-downs from the government when they are not fighting among themselves and likely will not co-operate with each other.
So back to square one, the combined opposition parties are a hapless bunch, period. It is all up to the people to force the government’s hand. They cannot do this by letting themselves be prone to incitement by politicians and party hacks, destroying precious infrastructure, infighting and confrontations with the so-called law enforcers.
They must band together and force the only people who they have the power to compel to listen
