We give up too easily, we must use our imagination

Dear Editor,

When any sane person is offered a basket to fetch water and recognises it very early but still accepts then the giver whom we accept as even more sane and concerned will expect that all the creative and imaginative skills to seal the basket ,freeze the water into ice and convey it to the clients as mutually agreed are unconditionally accomplished.

The persons who are the prospected recipients are not excluded from the team to assist in the service being executed. However in our dear land we seem to always point our failures not to our inability to think deeply but to inadequate money and materials.

Life’s sojourn demands that we dive and dig deep within and discover that genius that makes us God’s agents on this planet and with His communion we will be blessed with insight, foresight and vision to live in deeds and not in years thus accomplishing with His help with very little time and materials phenomenal ease for ourselves and humanity. With man being God’s greatest showpiece by virtue of his intelligence and intellect he can make the best out of the seemingly nothing and impossible as the pyramids of Egypt and the Taj Mahal of India pronounce.

The government is upsetting the balance by trying to dole out to all in every circumstance and need in order to remain popular while the masses degenerate into a very superficial and shallow mental attitude that spells a slavery that can be even worse than our colonial legacy that still has us wearing ties and suits with our humanity never ever so threatened. We are making use of only a small part of our mental and physical resources skating on the surface of life. This needs to be drastically and quickly altered.

Yours faithfully,

S M Khan
