Applicant has benefited from re-assigned telephone service

Dear Editor,
For four months I have been trying to get my telephone No. 231-0233 transferred  to my address at Lot 129/908 Jackson Street, Tucville. To date I have written two to three letters to the Manager, Customer Services, only to have them not acknowledged.
I have attached two letters that I sent to them.
Yours faithfully,
Tenisha Williams

Editor’s note
We sent a copy of this letter to Ms Allison Parker, Public Relations Officer of GT&T for any comment(s) she may have wished to make and received the following response:
“Ms Willams’s letter was forwarded to the Customers Services Manager for her comment and the Manager has indicated that while Ms Tenisha Williams did request a transfer at the time she has indicated, the Manager received only this letter from Ms Williams which was also copied to Stabroek News.
“Ms Williams’s request for transfer had been receiving attention but could not have been effected since line plant facility was unavailable in the Tucville area. GT&T does keep a constant check on the availability of line plant in areas and whenever there is an upgrade, a transfer out of an area, or a cessation of lines, waiting applicants are served.
“In fact Ms Williams has now herself benefited from the cessation of a service in Tucville that has been re-assigned to her.  She was made aware of this and has visited our office to complete the transfer process.”
