Georgetown Football Club (GFC) and Pele FC convincingly blew out  Conquerors and Western Tigers 3-0  and  2 -0  respectively.

Conquerors’ persistent strikers Manessah Primo and Jomo Hinds were again on the list of goal scorers Sunday while Theon Carr recorded his maiden goal in the 2008 competition.

Primo was able to penetrate the defence in the 25th minute and blast the ball  into the back of the net to draw first blood for his team. Hinds then pushed Conquerors further ahead four minutes later when he scored in the 29th minute.

Carr managed to mark his name on the list of scorers just in the nick of time when he got one past the GFC keeper in the 90th minute.

In the feature match of the double header, Tigers had full control over their prey and shot two goals into their opponents by the 75th minute from numerous attempts at goal.

Maxwell Pellew and Jarel Tyrell were the two successful scorers for  Western Tigers, scoring in the 10th and 73rd minutes respectively to lead their team into the semi-final stage.
