Shabeau Magazine is ready to splash a new face on its cover and has begun planning for its 2008 competition; looking for franchise holders in countries across the region.
Tenders are now open to model agencies, event producers and promoters to host the local competition – (Face of Shabeau – Guyana).
The final event was successfully hosted in Barbados last June when Michelle Kurbanali of Trinidad and Mario Octuvon-Bazile of St. Maarten were named as the new faces of the magazine for a period of one year.
Senior Editor of Shabeau Magazine, Kofi A. Branch, in a press release issued on Thursday explained that each year the magazine will seek ways to improve the competition while making it bigger and better for Caribbean models aspiring to gain international status
Branch said the local competitions can serve as a stepping stone for producers of the show not only to produce a quality show for the Caribbean’s premier fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazine but also an opportunity to take their work to the regional level and be competitive in the single domestic space.
