Fire destroyed the Observation Ward of the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC) this morning. The GPHC says that all patients have been accounted for. The hospital says the fire started at around 5.45 am in the Male Observation Ward and the cause is still unknown. See full story in tommorrow’s edition.
