Murray, Persaud clash over budget deficit

Shadow Minister of Finance, Winston Murray yesterday ripped into the 2009 Budget declaring that the budgetary deficit has been misrepresented thus 30% of the government’s proposed expenditure is dependent on grants or borrowing money to achieve the targets set.

Klass: Not prudent to retain technical director now

– Dover offered job as head coach President of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Colin Klass said on Tuesday that it was “not prudent or economically viable to retain a technical director at the moment,” since Guyana will not be engaging in any international tournaments for approximately two years.
