Man held, drugs found at Wakenaam

Seventeen kilogrammes of cocaine were on Sunday discovered on a farm at Ridge, Wakenaam by members of the joint services and according to Crime Chief Seelall Persaud one man is in custody assisting with investigations.

Duo remanded on drugs charges

Two men who were found with a quantity of cocaine in their possession were remanded to prison yesterday when they appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

Two accused ‘trunkers’ remanded
