-Moves to court over judicial management CLICO (Guyana) on Monday suspended its Chief Executive Officer, Geeta Singh-Knight with immediate effect, citing decisions she made without the knowledge of the board, and the embattled company has also moved to court seeking to have actions taken by the judicial manager properly sanctioned by the court.

The truck driver accused of causing the death of an octogenarian at Bartica last Saturday was remanded to prison yesterday when he appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court Romel Jeffrey, 26, of Third Avenue, Bartica pleaded not guilty to the charge of causing death by dangerous driving.
