Teen remanded over Barama dredge murder

A teenager accused of murdering dredge operator Regerton Simon called ‘Baba’, who was gunned down in an attack on Septem-ber 5 was yesterday remanded to prison when he appeared before Acting Chief Magis-trate Melissa Robertson at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

ROME, (Reuters) – Italy’s top court ruled yesterday  that a law granting Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi immunity  from prosecution violates the constitution, in a verdict that  will reopen trials against him and may undermine his government.
