The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport says it has not authorized anyone to solicit contributions for the 2009 Mashramani events.

And the ministry said further in a release that any person or persons soliciting monies or purporting to be staff members of the ministry or members of the Central Mashramani Committee must be reported to police  and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport.
