Neal and Massy Group inducts 42 new staffers

The Neal and Massy Group of Companies recently employed 42 new staff members and its CEO said it is poised to meet the challenges of the global economic crisis.

In a press release CEO Deo Persaud said he is confident that the Group will be able to overcome the new financial challenges.

At an induction ceremony for the employees held on Friday, Persaud said the Group survived a similar situation in the late 70s and 80s and that adjustments will be made to cope with the current financial crisis testing governments and businesses worldwide.

According to the release Group Human Resources Officer Fay Bispham and HR Supervisor Sharon Rodrigues informed the new staff of the Group’s employment policy, benefits and gave them a brief history of the company.

The ceremony was hosted at the Group’s staff facility at Ruimveldt. Associated Industries Limited (Ainlim), the Demerara Oxygen Company (Docol), CCS, N&M Security Solutions, N&M Services Ltd and TDI comprising Geddes Grant and Marketing and Distribution form part of the Group that has operated in Guyana for over 40 years, the release said.
