The Alliance For Change (AFC) calls on the nation to emulate the Prophet Muhammad’s example of devotion, love and sacrifice in their daily lives.
In a press release the party said the life, works and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad have been an example that millions around the world have followed faithfully and rewardingly. It said too “As Guyanese we must find the courage and good sense to inculcate those aspects of each other’s cultures and religions to strengthen the fabric of our own nation.”
The AFC also added that citizens should feel proud that “we have woven from several cultures and religions a truly Guyanese identity and that we should be doing more to celebrate than to divide us.”
