Four persons believed to have ingested drugs are currently under police guard at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Stabroek News understands that the four were held during a police raid on the East Coast yesterday. They were later taken by ranks of the Narcotics Branch to the hospital, where x-rays were performed on the men. However, a source said nothing was found.
The four were subsequently admitted to the hospital for observation.
