In a press release DDL said retailers from communities such as La Jalousie, Blankenburg, Meten-Meer-Zorg, Tuschen and Parika have partnered with it in recent weeks and signed the Declaration. By signing the declaration they agree to post the ID Certificate and posters on their businesses.

DDL said the campaign is geared at encouraging liquor retailers to comply with their licence which forbids the sale of alcohol to underage persons. The company encourages all its customers to sign the Declaration letter which signals their commitment to complying with their licence.
