Former President Mrs Janet Jagan was yesterday admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) after complaining of feeling unwell.
Mrs. Jagan, 88, the widow of President Cheddi Jagan, was admitted to the medical institution at about 5 pm yesterday, the GPH said in a press release.
It said that she was admitted for observation after complaining of feeling unwell.
Up to press time, the former President was in the Intensive Care Unit of the institution.
