-Jagdeo tells T&T press conference
President Bharrat Jagdeo strongly rejected the notion that he might be interested in a third term when questioned by a local reporter in Port-of-Spain on Saturday night.
Jagdeo responded that he had made it clear there is no interest on his part to seek a third term.
“No! I am not interested in running for a third term, but I think that many of them are fearful that I would want to run a third time”, the President said.
Jagdeo added that he believes that people should serve and then move on.
