The Muslim organisations said world renowned qaseeda singer Jameer Hoosein will be the special guest at the sixth annual Eid Fest programme.
In a press release the groups said the programme will be held on September 27 at the Anna Catherina Islamic Complex (ACIC). This year’s programme will see many international guests from Muslim organisations in Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Holland, the USA, England and Canada, the release said.
The Muslim youth League of Guyana, ACIC, and the Guyana United Sadr Islamic Anjuman first hosted the programme in 2003.
