Republic Bank Guyana Limited yesterday awarded prizes to four of its customers who participated in its “VTM JETAWAY and win big promotion.”
Lindener, Norvell Fredericks walked away with the grand prize of an all-inclusive trip for two to Trinidad and Tobago.
The second prize of US$500 went to Cletus Smith of Kuru Kururu, Soesdyke/Linden Highway.
Additionally, two monthly prizes in the promotion were awarded to Donovan Yaw of Georgetown and Vishvanath Doerga of Corentyne.
Respectively, the men won for themselves; one digital camera and a trip for two to Baganara Resort.
At the simple ceremony held at the bank’s New Market Street head office, Michelle Johnson, Marketing Manager said that the bank is always pleased to be associated with tangible ways of giving back to its customers.
According to a statement from the bank, the visa travel money (VTM) is a prepaid debit card denominated in US currency and serves as a convenient way for online shopping, business travellers, overseas-based students and their parents, vacationers and local users.
Customers who loaded US$50 onto a new or existing VTM card qualified with a chance to win a prize by filling a coupon and submitting the entry to Republic Bank branches countrywide.
The promotion which was launched on July 15, 2008, began one year after and concluded on October 15.
