Man denies threatening to ‘chop up’ woman after fight

Pascal Hussein was yesterday granted bail in the sum of $20,000 under the condition that he stays away from the woman he allegedly threatened to kill.
Hussein pleaded not guilty at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court to a threatening language charge, which stated that he made use of threatening language to Rameena Alli on November 24.

He told Magistrate Priya Beharry, “we only had a lil argument and she run to de police station and tell them I threatening foh kill she… but is nothing like dah.”
Alli, who was also present in court, stated that she will be offering evidence against Hussein since he threatened to “chop me up.”

The case was then transferred to the Vreed-en-Hoop Magistrates’ Court for December 3.
