Turks police continue search
Police in the Turks and Caicos Islands say they are keeping up search and recovery efforts for missing Haitians whose boat sank earlier this week.

The US coast guard has already called off its two-day search that covered 1,500 square miles of ocean.

Deputy Police Commis-sioner Hubert Hughes says marine patrol boats are scouring the waters where the overloaded boat struck a reef on Sunday night. To date 16 migrants have been confirmed dead, 119 rescued and 70 others remain missing.
Hughes said he doubts very much that anyone else would be found alive.
