Wanted bulletin issued for woman over body in septic tank probe

As investigations continue into the murder of Ram Kanniah, the man whose body was recently found in a septic tank at Crabwood Creek, police have issued a wanted bulletin for a woman wanted for questioning.

Yesterday, the police issued a Wanted Bulletin for Particksha Shaw, whose last known address was Grant 1806, Crabwood Creek, Corentyne.  Police described her as being brown in complexion.

Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Particksha Shaw is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 225-2700, 225-2227, 225-8196, 226-1326, 333-2151 to 3, 333-2191, 911 or the nearest police station.

On the morning of November 15, Ram Kanniah, 42, of Number 78 Village, Corriver-ton, Berbice was found dead in the septic tank at Grant 1806 Crabwood Creek. His body bore suspected marks of violence to the chest.

A post-mortem examination revealed that Kanniah died as a result of “stab wounds to the chest with protrusion of the lungs”.

Following the incident the woman with whom Kanniah had shared a relationship emerged as the prime suspect in the case.
