Windwards struggling as CCC asserts advantage

KINGSTOWN, St Vincent, CMC – Combined Campuses and Colleges grabbed control of their 10th round WICB Regional Four-day match against Windward Islands as the hosts stuttered and stumbled on the second day of the encounter at Arnos Vale yesterday.

After CCC carried their overnight 231 for seven to 277 all out, they quickly made inroads into the Windwards batting and had reduced them to 130 for seven by the close, still 147 runs in arrears.

The damage was done by medium pacer Kurt Wilkinson who snatched the first three wickets to fall, to finish with fine figures of three for 33. Left-arm spinner Anderson Sealy then got two key middle order wickets to claim two for 26.
