Defending champions book quarterfinal spot

Countrywide champions Die Hard XI defeated Reliance XI by 59 runs to book their quarter-final place last Sunday in the Mike’s Pharmacy 15-overs-a-side softball competition organised by the Guyana Softball League (GSL).

Die Hard XI made 190-4 in 15 overs with Jitendra Emrit scoring a polished 77. Darshan Narine supported with 44.

Khemraj Seecharran took 2-20 from three overs for Reliance who replied with 131-6 in 15 overs.

Seecharran top scored with 24.

Darshanand Sukhai was the chief destroyer with  4-12 from three overs.
