Demerar/B/ce U-17s square off in 70th anniversary ODI

The Berbice and Demerara Cricket Boards have name squads to play in a specially arranged Inter-County match today at the Rose Hall ground in Canje to commemorate the BCB’s 70th anniversary.

Veerapen Permaul, captain of the victorious Lower Corentyne team in the just concluded Berbice Cricket Board/Republic Bank under-17 Inter Zone tournament, will lead Berbice in the 40-overs-a-side affair.

Talented Shaqueel Williams will captain Demerara while former national player Garvin Nedd is the manager/coach.
