Cameron crowned Domino Champion

Warren Cameron emerged winner of the Ministry of Home Affairs Champion of Champions Domino Competition at the Guyana Police Sports Pavilion on Thursday.

A total of 17 participants from the queen and king domino competition came together for the final decider in the overall Champion of Champion category. The competition takes place annually during September to celebrate the establishment of the Ministry of Home Affairs on the 6th of September, 1961.

Cameron of the Ministry’s driving pool came out as the eventual winner with a total of seven games followed by Christopher Lesperance of the General Registrar’s Office who managed a six game haul.

Last week Cameron scored 12 games to defeat Anthony Niles of the Accounts Department with seven games and Kevin Allen of the General Registrar’s Office with six games to become the King Domino Champion.
