Abel and Jaipaul Heeralall put on another 39 from a mere nine balls before Abel went for 109 which included four boundaries and 12 sixes. After that Heeralall and Derick Lalsa Sr. took D’Edward home to their target.
Seawell medium pacers Amit Ramroop and Aslam Ally took five wickets each to bowl out Gangaram Strykers for 83. Seawell went on to win by five wickets. At Sisters, Tucber Park beat Sisters by two wickets. Sisters made 190 in 29.4 overs with Phillip Willborough scoring 61; Andel de Jonge 5-49, Kelvin Leitch 2-11. Tucber Park in reply reached 192 for 8 in 31 overs with Julian Moore reaching 41, Joemal La Fleur 31 and De Jonge 37 not out Osmond Gilead 4-61.
At Courtland, Fyrish Road beat Number 1 Road by 25 runs. Fyrish Road amassed 111 in 21.1 overs with Imran Hussain scoring 28, James Johnson taking 3-14, Elroy Henry 3-29. Number 1 Road only managed 86 in reply from 18 overs with Shameen Ahmad being the main destroyer with figures of 5-34 while Chunilall Harrilall took 4-23.
At Hampshire, Tamran Root beat Belvedere Superstars by three wickets. The Belvedere Superstars made an even 100 in 26.4 overs with Mohindra Algu stroking 40, Dilip Rengasammy snatching 5-5 and Ram Ramsammy 2-16. Tamran Root replied with 104-7 in 18.4 overs with Dilip Rengasammy making 25 and Algu taking 4-33 and Arif Ishak 2-15.
At Albion Front, Jai Hind beat Albion Community Centre by six wickets after Albion Community Centre chalked up 148 in 39.4 overs. Devendra Baichan made 50 while Muniram Lallbeharry took 3-22. Jai Hind in response reached 149-4 in 23.4 overs with Kumar Nandalall stroking 51 and Bishu Kallimuthu 30.
At Number 65, Number 68 Turn Team defeated Number 65 by 10 wickets. Number 65 could only manage 61 in 19.3 overs with Vivendra Gooniah taking 4-13 while Wayne Anthony had 2-7 and Tooaram Persaud 2-11. Number 68 Turn Team easily made 62 without loss in 19.3 overs with Hemnauth Ramsaroop Vivendra Gooniah scoring undefeated 32 and 28 respectively.
Bath Development Centre beat Number 3 by one wicket. Number 3 after taking first strike made 109 in 26.2 overs with Chunilall Seopersaud top scoring with 27 while Navindra Chattergoon took 2-12 and Vishal Bejai 2-13. Bath Development Centre replied with 110-9 from 24.3 overs. Meanwhile, Crawford opened the batting with Hemnauth Goberdhan and the two featured in an opening stand for 116 before Goberdhan fell for 63. Crawford continued to hold the innings together, featuring in a 90-run sixth wicket stand with Balram Samaroo (23) to help Number 43 reach 176 in 37.1 overs.
When Number 47 Pioneer began their response, Number 43 opening pacer Nigel Bhownauth picked up three early wickets when the score was only three. Shortly after medium pacer Crawford joined the fray and picked up 5 for 31, the Pioneers being bowled out for 158 in 35.1 overs.
Meanwhile opening batsman Mankarran Singh hit 69 to assist Whim National ‘A’ score 226 all out in 33.5 overs against Whim National ‘B’. His teammate, pacer Appadu took 5-21 from 6.5 overs to oversee Whim ‘B’ being bowled out for 161 in reply despite a fine 75 from Mahendra Basdeo.
On the other hand, half centuries were scored by Vinode Samaroo of Johns, Ravi Ramsudh of Number 70 Young Blood and Sachin Chabulall of Number 72 Cut and Load. Pacer Vishwanauth Lallbeharry took 5-28 for Number 69 Vikings who still went down by 33 runs to Number 64 Young Warriors.
