The Jumbo Jet Auto Sales and Agriculture Machinery establishment will stage a grand one day sprint classic horse race meeting on January 3 at the Rising Club Turf Club West Coast Berbice. Seven races are carded for this meeting, three of which are designated feature events; the `C’ Class and Lower, the three-year-old Guyana and West Indian bred Mohammed Sprint Classic and the two year-old Open Guyana and West Indian bred horses. Over five million dollars in cash prizes and trophies will be at stake and most of the country’s top horses are expected to be on show. Among them will be N. Mohammed’s newly imported Ambush Baby, Madam Butterfly, Horse The Massage, Miss Republic, Irish Gel, Seaquin, Jumbo Joy and Great Memories.
