Two Camerons for final episode of Iconoclasts Season 4

Next Tuesday at 1 pm on DIRECTV Channel 999, Episode Six of Iconoclasts features actor/environmentalist Cameron Diaz and 2006 Technology, Entertainment Design (TED) award winner Cameron Sinclair.

Diaz, an acclaimed and much-nominated actress is committed to practicing and promoting conservation and sustaining the planet’s resources.

Diaz’s first film was The Mask opposite Jim Carrey. She has also starred in My Best Friend’s Wedding, There’s Something About Mary, Being John Malkovich, Gangs of New York and Charlie’s Angels among others. She was the voice of Princess Fiona in Shrek.

Sinclair, an ‘eternal optimist’ is the co-founder of Architecture for Humanity, a global organisation that seeks sustainable architectural solutions to humanitarian crisis and communities in need.

Over the past ten years the organization has worked in twenty six countries on projects ranging from school, health clinics, affordable housing and long term sustainable reconstruction.

Sinclair serves on advisory boards of the Acumen Fund, Detroit Collaborative Design Center and the Institute for State Effectiveness. He is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2005 RISD/Target Emerging Designer of the Year. Recently he was selected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.

On the final episode of Iconoclasts for this season, the two Camerons travel to New Orleans, and Biloxi Mississippi to witness the enduring environmental and human impact of Hurricane Katrina. Both passionate problem solvers, they each seek to challenge the status quo in different ways.

The Iconoclasts series pairs two leading creative innovators from different fields including film, sports, architecture, fashion, food, music, and business. Unlike an ordinary interview programme, it captures the essence of these headline-makers through the eyes of the creative visionaries who respect and admire them the most.  The Iconoclasts visit each other’s worlds to explore their creative process, their inspirations and their passions. Each pair provides viewers with an inside glimpse into the inspiration and motivation that made them who they are today and offers insight into the real people behind the public personae.
