Man remanded over murder of 74-year-old stepfather

A man accused of murdering his 74-year-old stepfather, Kenneth Lynch, after a heated argument had  ensued between them at their Johanna Cecilia, Essequibo Coast home was yesterday remanded to prison when he appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

Ramsammy unaware of any dengue death

Minister of Health, Dr. Leslie Ramsammy says the health sector has not recorded any recent dengue deaths, but he noted yesterday that the sector will conduct investigations to ascertain whether any such death has gone unreported.

Canadian karate team is here

GT&T pumps $500,000 into the hosting of Pan Am Karate c/ships
