Aranka four remanded over armed robbery spree

Four men, alleged to be members of a gang who carried out a number of robberies on mining camps in the Aranka, Cuyuni area, appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton yesterday, charged with five counts of robbery under arms and were remanded to prison.

Google to allow phone calls from Gmail

NEW YORK, (Reuters) – Google Inc said  users of Gmail will now be able to call telephones directly  from their email, putting it in direct competition with Web  calling service Skype and more traditional operators such as  AT&T Inc and Verizon Communications.

Traffic jam

On Monday last, BBC news reported that a massive traffic jam in China, which extended some 100 km and lasted for nine days had basically ended.
