This week we asked the man and the woman in the street whether they will be attending any of the events planned for the holidays. There are two concerts where regional and international singers will be performing as well as the Kashif and Shanghai football.

I will most likely go to the football. My boyfriend is a really big fan so I’ll go with him.

I am not going to attend because I’m hard-pressed for the season and my time is being taken up. I don’t have time for any function whatsoever.

Those things don’t really excite me and with what’s going on now in a crowd you mash a man foot and a fight starts. I’ll be doing the normal routine of just selling, going to church and that’s about it.

I’m a musician so I’m thinking about going to the Beenie Man and Jah Cure concerts. I find them positive especially the concert with Ashanti. Her coming here to perform live and seeing her in person would be good for the people.

I plan to attend the Kashif and Shanghai just for the tradition because every year we go. I might go to the Beenie Man show. You have to go and see the doctor whenever he comes and if he comes every day you see him every day.
