Duo remanded over ganja trafficking at Port Kaituma

Two men were remanded to prison by Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton when they appeared before her charged with trafficking in narcotics yesterday.

Neil Dundas and Falen Allen both pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to them.

It is alleged that on April 19 at Water Front, Port Kaituma they had in their possession 1.6kg of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.

They were remanded and the matter transferred to Matthew’s Ridge Magistrate’s Court for May 4.
