A man is to be charged after police saw him pointing a gun at another man at Rahaman’s Park, East Bank Demerara on Tuesday.
The gun, a .38 revolver with four matching rounds and a spent shell, was unlicensed. The police said in a statement that at about 12:25 hrs on Tuesday, ranks of a mobile police patrol observed the man pointing a firearm in the direction of another man and arrested him. Following checks, they learnt that the gun was unlicensed.
The man remains in custody and is due to appear in court shortly.
