The Central Islamic Organisation (CIOG), in a statement yesterday, extended sympathy to the administration of the St Joseph Mercy Hospital at the destruction of the building.
“CIOG avails itself to render any assistance in anyway possible that will allow your institution to get back into operation and continue to benefit the Guyanese people,” the release said.
“Our prayers are with you at this time,” the CIOG added.
